Wild Child OC!

We live for a good before & after so we are incredibly excited to share some behind the scenes of the opening of our second shop at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach. 

We knew we needed to do something fun on the facade to let everyone know we were coming!  We had our friends at Wrap Legends create the vinyl for the windows using A Dapper Line's art from our Long Beach mural. 

We started with a blank slate and got to planning out the layout of the space.  We were lucky to have the guidance of Megan Tagliaferri from FLO Design Studio to ensure the flow was optimal.

Our amazing carpenter Andy created all the built ins you see in our space.  We knew from the beginning we wanted to incorporate arches into the design of the shop.  The store really came together when the shelving he created for all our paper goods was complete.

Up next was selecting paint colors.  We knew we wanted to have an accent wall behind the cash wrap in a soft teal and from there we selected some fun pops of coral for the runway.

Our Balloon Bar neon at the Long Beach shop is one of our signatures so we knew we wanted to incorporate an updated version of it at the new store.  We custom designed this suspended version and had Best Buy Neon Signs bring it to life for us. 

One of our favorite design elements of the space is the cash wrap. We knew we wanted it to have a large footprint so we could use it to interact with our clients when planning.  We also wanted to have an impactful menu for our balloon bar.  We created this letter slide board with Lorem Creative and custom made each vinyl decal.

We also partnered with Lorem Creative to execute our balloon bar.  We wanted to create an interactive space in our shop where customers could hand pick tassels, confetti, & specialty ribbon for their balloons.

We utilized lots of acrylic throughout the space to keep it feeling light and airy. The custom card shelves by Lorem really let the product shine.  We carried the slide board idea into the balloon bar as well with our polaroid wall.  We wanted to give our customers a tangible space to see all the different balloons we offer.  We love A Dapper Line's mural at our Long Beach HQ so much & we knew we needed her to be a part of the new store somehow.  She created this amazing curtain to separate our back room and it really ties the whole space together.
